Karimkunnam Grama Panchayat is a village panchayat situated in Thodupuzha Taluk of Idukki District, under the jurisdiction of the Thodupuzha Block Panchayat, and includes Karimkunnam Village. The Panchayat has an area of 22.67 square kilometers. Its boundaries are Thodupuzha Municipality to the north, Kottayam District to the south, Muttom Grama Panchayat to the east, and Purapuzha Grama Panchayat to the west. Located at the southern end of Thodupuzha Taluk in the western part of Idukki District, bordering Kottayam District, this Panchayat was once a habitat for wild animals.
